Minna is the editor of MsAfropolitan.com and is a recognized social commentator on world issues including Africa, feminism, fashion, identity, gender and race.
Her work has appeared in the Guardian, African Writer and the Sentinel Literary Quarterly. She was recently a guest panelist on TVO’s The Agenda with Steve Palin along with author Erica Jong. Her poetry has also been published in the anthology If Yu Hie Se A De Prizin.
Minna Salami was born in 1978 to a Nigerian father and a Finnish mother. Leaving Nigeria in her early teens, she has since lived in Sweden, Spain, New York and London, where she now resides.
