I’m so much looking forward to participating in the WorldEthicForum in Pontresina, Switzerland, this month with an inspiring group of “Firekeepers” such as “Auma Obama (sociologist, matroness), Vandana Shiva (Alternative Nobel Prize winner, matroness), and the philosopher/authors Bayo Akomolafe (Narrative Philosophy) and Andreas Weber (“Enlivenment”) whom I’m excited to lead a 4-part workshop series exploring “Enlivenment, Sensuous Knowledge and Postactivism” together with – synopsis below
Enlivenment, Sensuous Knowledge and Postactivism
Three philosophers, writers, and public intellectuals explore how to inhabit a world beyond the fences of mainstream separation into humans and “nature”, agents and concepts, ideas and things, rational thought and mere matter, and other polarities characteristic of the cognitive empire of Western culture. The three walk into mysterious and profoundly familiar terrain, find the motherly in the monstrous, gather knowledge through sensuous encounters and honour the breath shared between all beings, embodied and invisible. Together with the participants, they will embark on an exploration into aliveness as co-becoming.
