MsAfropolitan nominated for a BEFFTA award!

October 2, 2011 By MsAfropolitan 10 Comments

What did you want to become when you were a kid?

See for me, I didn’t think that I wanted to become a blogger when I was little. I mean, of course I would have if blogging existed at the time!

Blogging is one of the greatest media and technological developments of the century and I love that as a blogger I am able to share stories about Africa. And about race, religion, feminism, fashion, hair and porn.

And so then an email pops up in my inbox from BEFFTA Awards, the awards ceremony that honours the best showbiz and entertainment personalities in the black and ethnic communities in the UK, USA and globally saying:

MSAFROPOLITAN HAS BEEN NOMINATED FOR BLOG OF THE YEAR!

I’m excited and extremely humbled about that news. Heartfelt thanks to everyone who supports this site, if you would like to vote for MsAfropolitan in the “Blog of the year” category then please VOTE HERE

& make sure to check out the great blogs nominated in the category.

Gratitude.
