Season’s Greetings! & the winner is…

December 24, 2010 By MsAfropolitan 3 Comments

Happy Holidays people!

See, I’m supposed to be writing this from Lagos, Nigeria but then we had this snow incident in London last Saturday that meant my flight got cancelled. And honestly speaking it would have been irresponsible for me to fly regardless because I’m down with a relentless flu.

So I’m in London, recovering, keeping my fingers crossed I’ll be better soon so I can get at least a few days of holiday to go see my parents. Wish me luck!

Hope those that celebrate Xmas/Kwanzaa are fully absorbing the spirit of the time with their loved ones!

No matter what faith we have let’s give thanks to Unity – with God, Family, Community.

Also, in giving thanks to the online community I announced a giveaway a few weeks ago. I am proud to announce the winner of the Mariama Xmas/Kwanzaa Lavender Scented Gift Set from the MsAfropolitan Boutique is Beeladonna, whose comment to why she ought to win made me chuckle and smile.

Beeladonna dear, put away those books and get ready to soak up some Ankara-coated lavender instead 🙂

PS You should all check out graphic designer/illustrator Beeladonna’s House of Beela website – it’s full of love!
